All of Bare's content is free, but if you opt for a paid subscription, your payment will benefit my favorite non-profits.

Some of the organizations I have chosen are are based in my area of residence. Some are nationwide. Others are global. Regardless of locale, their efforts cause a ripple effect, spreading healing and increasing opportunities for all communities to thrive.

How does it work?

Each of the six organizations below will receive at least one donation per year. If less than $25 is generated in any given month, that amount will be earmarked for the organization’s next donation period. Bare will give 100% of subscription payments received during their designated months to:

• Planned Parenthood (September and March)

• Amah Mutsun Land Trust (October and April)

• World Central Kitchen (November and May)

• CHIRLA (December and June)

• Healthy Black Families, Inc. (January and July)

• GLAAD (February and August)

From September 2024 to September 2025, Bare donated over $700 on behalf of our paid subscribers.

In June, Bare subscribers responded to the attacks on immigrant communities by supporting the work of CHIRLA (Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles) with a donation of $100.

Bare made a donation of $150 to Planned Parenthood in September 2025, thanks to the generosity of our subscribers.

October 2025’s paid prescription proceeds will go to the Amah Mutsun Land Trust. Thank you, paid subscribers for making this $125 donation possible.
